BIOGRAPHY

From early childhood in Xian, China, Kerong Li dreamt of pursuing a future career in motorsport and developed a lifelong fascination with cars and racing. As soon as he reached the minimum age to attend the Porsche Experience Centre in Shanghai he enrolled to gain his first experience of a powerful sportscar.

After moving to the United States to continue his education overseas, Kerong immediately began to participate in trackday events and ultimately joined the Primal Racing School in 2021 where he graduated and received his first ever competition racing licence.

Continuing to develop his skills with private coaching in GT-style cars, he then began to race in club-level racing championships in the USA. Alongside ‘closed-wheel’ racing in GT cars, Kerong also made selected outings in Formula 4 single-seaters cars – becoming a multiple podium finisher.

Stepping-up to the professional ranks in the world-renowned IMSA series at the end of 2021, this year he is racing alongside vastly experienced team-mate Jean-Francois Brunot in the global 24H Series which visits some of the world’s premier race circuits in Europe, America and the Middle East.

Kerong Li has achieved his lifelong dream of pursuing a career in motor racing, now he sets his sights on achieving success at the highest possible level with a constant drive to improve his racecraft and speed and a desire to learn as much as he can.
